Founded in 1992 and incorporated as a non-profit organization (NPO), NGTC develops, adapts, and transfers technologies largely in the thermal energy sector. Although NGTC was established to assist the natural gas sector, we have been actively working since 2007 to integrate new energy sources with more traditional ones. NGTC has also added consulting services based on client needs to our research and development activities.

In 2019, NGTC obtained ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation in the fields of thermal energy (natural gas, electricity, renewable energies) for the development and validation of test protocols and for laboratory testing.
